Metro police announced that members of their Juvenile Crime Task Force arrested four teenagers Tuesday for breaking into cars at an apartment complex on Great Circle Road.

Officers responded to the area after a citizen called in a tip. Video surveillance showed the teens breaking into a car in the area.

Police detained the teens, ages 18, 17, 16, and 14, after spotting them walking on Great Circle Road.

Yancey A. Graves, 18, was charged with burglarizing three vehicles and contributing to the delinquency of minors. He was released without posting bond.

The other teens were each charged with three counts of auto burglary in juvenile court.

Police did not say what the teens allegedly stole from the vehicles.
