Police say a woman was shot during a violent home invasion in Springfield overnight.

According to the Springfield Police Department, the two suspects posed as bail bondsmen and forced their way inside the home on Batts Boulevard around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said the men tied up all of the residents with zip ties.

The female victim was shot in the arm. Another victim was struck several times with a weapon.

According to officials, both victims have since been released from the hospital.

William Troup, 34, was arrested in connection with the crime. He is charged with especially aggravated burglary and criminal attempt to commit first-degree murder.

The second suspect, Blayne Basler, remains at large. Basler, from Greenbrier, is 5'11" with blue eyes and brown hair. Police say he should be considered to be armed and dangerous and was last seen in the Dickerson Pike area of Nashville.
