Scattered showers and thunderstorms will bring several waves of heavy downpours to Middle Tennessee throughout the day on Saturday.
Clouds will begin building through the overnight with the first line of rain moving in before dawn on Saturday.
News 4 Meteorologist Cody Murphy said it looks like two lines of storms will be moving through the area.
"Severe weather will be most likely with the morning line along and west of I-65 and the evening line for areas south of I-40," said Murphy.
A few damaging wind gusts will be possible as well, especially in the southern portion of the Midstate.
A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for several counties in West Tennessee from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday.
Showers will begin to taper off by Sunday but stick around for the first half of the day.
Cooler air begins moving in after the rain with highs Sunday and Monday in the upper 50s and low 60s.
