A 21-year-old man was arrested on Thursday in connection with the December 2016 shooting death in the parking lot of Swett’s Restaurant, police said in a news release.
According to police, Smith had driven into the lot and waited around 10 minutes before another vehicle parked next to him at 5:30 p.m.
Smith got into the passenger side of that car where an apparent struggle ensued, according to police. The passenger door opened and Smith fell to the ground.
Archibald has been charged with first-degree murder and especially aggravated robbery. He is being held on $150,000 bond.
