A Watertown man has been charged with statutory rape and multiple counts of soliciting sexual exploitation of a minor, according to a TBI news release.

The TBI, at the request of District Attorney General Tom Thompson, began investigating the allegations of statutory rape and solicitation of a minor by James Hall of Watertown on June 12.

Agents said that from March through May 2018, Hall had engaged in multiple offenses of soliciting sexual exploitation of a minor and especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor and one offense of statutory rape.

The Wilson County Grand Jury returned indictments charging Wall, 32, with one count of statutory rape, 10 counts of soliciting sexual exploitation of a minor by electronic means, four counts of soliciting sexual exploitation of a minor by electronic means and 10 counts of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.

Wall turned himself in to authorities late Wednesday night. He is being held at the Wilson County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
