It appeared that Joe Clyde Daniels' mother was facing a new charge of first-degree murder, but officials now say that is incorrect.

Joseph and Krystal Daniels were indicted by a grand jury Friday on nine charges related to Joe Clyde's death and the investigation that followed.

Jail officials confirmed early Wednesday that Krystal had been charged with first-degree murder in addition to the charges of aggravated child abuse (two counts), accessory after the fact, and making a false report/statement that she was indicted for last week.

However, officials now say that murder charge was not filed against Daniels, and may have been caused by a computer glitch.

Joseph Daniels was indicted on charges of first-degree murder, child abuse, aggravated child abuse, child neglect, filing a false report and tampering or fabricating evidence.

Both parents are in custody at the Dickson County Jail.

After several days of searching, Joseph Daniels admitted to killing his son and dumping his body, but he did not remember where. His body has still not been found.
